Led integration management office (IMO) for post-merger integration of two carbon offset and project development companies on behalf of PE fund.

Led project management office (PMO) for client’s financial and operational initiatives (COO/CFO-led).

On behalf of COO, created operational playbooks to define standards for integrating acquired companies (‘integration playbook’) and performing the general manager role (‘GM playbook’).

In partnership with CFO and FPA Manager, led development of detailed accounting procedures for creating annual plan/quarterly forecasts, executing month-end close, and managing non-coded credit card expenses.
Performance management & metric design
Middle East government-owned electric utility (Q2 2022)

Led design of asset management functional metrics across 5 business units (BUs) for government-owned electric utility based in Middle East (BUs = Finance, Engineering, Maintenance, Ops. & Control, Tech. Services).

Work resulted in ‘Tier 1’, real-time metric dashboard integrated with asset management IT platform including metric name, definition, formula, reporting frequency, target (month/YTD), priority, and owner.
Interim management - Director Customer Service Financial Operations
Caribbean-based, government-owned utility (2020 - 2021)

Interim Director for Caribbean-based electric utility (Title III Bankruptcy), responsible for management of Financial Operations functions - customer billing, credit & collections, payment processing, and theft mitigation.

Stood up new Billing Services and Credit & Collections organizations which included screening and hiring ~200 FTEs.

Established future utility standards (policies, procedures, processes) for key processes – customer billing, credit & collections and payment processing.

Outsourced bill print & delivery function to 3rd-party vendor (~$9M annual spend; achieved ~9% cost savings).

Led bill statement re-design project, documented IT/business requirements, and facilitated UAT testing of new bill

Facilitated implementation of new operating model at bankrupt investor-owned utility (Chapter 11 Bankruptcy) to drive accountability within / across electric and gas operating units as well as shared services functions.
